For the presentation of the CNRS silver medal to Jean-François Lutz, the ICS organised a “Precision macromolecular chemistry” minisymposium on November, 26th (2018). In the morning of 26th, Kris Matyjaszewski (Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, US) and Bert Meijer (Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands) gave two keynote talks in the Henri Benoît amphitheater. In the afternoon, the director of the CNRS Chemistry Institute, Jacques Maddaluno, presented the medal to Jean-François Lutz at the University library of the University of Strasbourg.
